Monday Talks - A Breath For Life - 2nd Nov 2026

How did one little boy's story lead to a charity that has changed so many lives?

Join us for an inspiring evening with Jane Dean, founder trustee of A Breath for Life, as she shares the remarkable story behind the charity.

In 1996, Jane met three-year-old Andrew Waddington, whose life had been changed forever by a catastrophic brain injury. Determined to find a way to help him, Jane and local osteopath Charles Tisdall began a journey that led them to discover the potential of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT).

What started as a search to help one child grew into A Breath for Life, a charity that has brought hope and improved quality of life for children and adults living with a wide range of conditions.

Jane will tell the inspiring story of Andrew's journey, the creation of the charity, and how hyperbaric oxygen therapy continues to support people and their families today.

Whether you have a personal interest in health and wellbeing, enjoy hearing inspiring local stories, or simply want to learn more about this fascinating treatment, everyone is welcome.
