Warm Spots Fund grant from Cumbria Community Foundation
We are delighted to have been awarded a grant of £1,000 from the Cumbria Community Foundation Warm Spots Fund to cover the cost of our Warm Welcome Wednesdays sessions which have been running from 9th November 2022, and which will continue until the end of April 2023. The funding will cover the costs of the use of the hall and heating the space used each week, the provision of a hot lunch at 1pm, hot drinks materials, biscuits and savoury snacks throughout the day, and the cost of Level 2 Food Hygiene training for the volunteers who run the WWW sessions to allow us to extend our sessions to include the hot lunch. Our grateful thanks go to the Cumbria Community Foundation for their support for our Warm Welcome Wednesdays sessions at Burton Memorial Hall.
